From darkness to light,

From despair to joy,

From hell to hope,

From weakness to strength,

From pain to peace,

From loneliness to love,

From cold to warmth,

From guilt to gratitude.

 

 

 

Repentance

All men, everywhere, must repent;

This then is how life should be spent;

If when life is o'er, we've not bent,

O, then, we'll wonder, where time went.

 

For life after death goes on you see,

And lasts, for each, eternally;

We'll want to improve the quality,

Of how we spend eternity.

 

Repentance is the key to seize,

A golden opportunity;

To determine what we'll be,

And how we spend eternity.

 

Repentance is the matchless gift,

That gives the burdened soul the lift;

And is the way to heal the rift,

That caused our souls from Christ to drift.
