Election day 2024. This evening we will learn which immoral person will be leading the nation for the next four years. One has a history of bragging about his sexual exploits, and the other is a woman who was in a relationship with a man 30 years her senior and who is a childless, vocal supporter of abortion. I was unable to vote for either, and left that part of my ballot blank.

Ross Perot was a third-party candidate for president in 1992. He made a good point when he said, "If your wife can't trust you, who can?"

Entrusting our country's leadership to adulterers will surely lead to its downfall. The United States is in a serious downward spiral. As recently as 1987 the American electorate still had some scruples. In that year Gary Hart was the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate. When the press revealed that he was a womanizer, it caused a furor, and he dropped his candidacy. America later twice elected a similar person to the presidency. The Lord can't be expected to support a nation where a majority of the people support adultery and abortion.

But we're there. I foresee some disturbing scenarios playing out no matter which person wins the current contest.
