Mother’s Day 2005

Thirty-four years a mother;

Thirty-four call her mom;

It’s doubtful there’s another,

Who has such sweet aplomb.

She makes it look so easy,

How can she be so calm?

It would drive another crazy

To be thirty-four times a mom.

She refuses to be flustered,

She takes it all in stride,

She keeps her courage mustered,

And carries a song inside.

Her faith is sure and steadfast,

She defuses every bomb,

And spreads comfort first and last,

With the special touch of mom.

Thirty-four years a mother

Might seem a small eon,

But thirty-four loving children

Say thanks to our great mom.
