Genealogy is about descent.  I can trace my descendancy from noble men and women who lived, served, and suffered hundreds of years ago.  Just 14 traceable steps take me back to my eleventh great grandfather, William Brewster, the presiding elder aboard the Mayflower.

My Priesthood is the same.  It is about descent.  Just 10 steps in a traceable line takes my authority back to the Savior, Jesus Christ.

And then partake the sacrament,

It's through the Atonement

You're once again made innocent.
