Robots Are the Key

I fell asleep while preparing my lesson.  I had a dream.  The dream said, “Robots are the key.”

Think about it.  The technology exists to provide us with robots that could do most anything for us and free up our time for other activities.  We could program our robot to read our scriptures.  It could go to church for us, and take the sacrament.  It could prepare and give the Family Home Evening lesson.  Perhaps we could even program it to discipline our children when they do wrong.

Of course such an idea is ludicrous.  But given how so many people want to shirk responsibility, and given how addicted to technology some people are, the idea would probably resonate with some.  All around us we see people delegating their parental privileges and responsibilities to day care centers and grandparents.  The world is filled with people who are too busy to give time to, or even acknowledge, their Creator.  But there are some activities that are so crucial, like the ones I just mentioned, that they must absolutely not be delegated nor ignored.  Those who pass them off as being not worth their while are in for a rude awakening.
