Technology is at the root of every one of our problems.

I'm distressed at the way time is flying.  I've discovered it's the clocks.  They're in high gear.

Our pants are shrinking.  It's the dryer.  We need to get a new one.

I don't recall being particularly crippled before getting a new knee.  Did I submit to the operation just because the technology was available?

The winters are milder, and the summers are longer and drier.  Hurricanes are more frequent, and Greenland's ice sheet is melting.  It's global warming caused by technology.

If only we could go back to the days of kerosene lamps, no refrigeration, and no penicillin.  Life was perfect then.
