Visits From The Other Side, #2

"I would like to include an incident that happened one night in 1966 to Helen Nebeker Zaugg, a daughter of Joseph Wiley Nebeker.  At that time, Helen had just gone to bed and whether she was dreaming or whether she was about ready to go to sleep, she's not sure, but she saw Grandma Nebeker (Selina Mary Boulton Nebeker) standing in the bedroom doorway, as it were, and Grandma spoke saying, 'Why hasn't the family done our temple work for us?  We are waiting.'  She proceeded to give Helen the numbers of two records where she would find information concerning the family.  Helen asked her to wait as she wanted to get a pencil to write them down.  This she did as best she could remember.  The next day she took the numbers to the Ward Genealogy Chairman and he said they were numbers of English records that were on microfilm in the Salt Lake Genealogy Library.  She told this story to me and gave me the numbers as I was just preparing to do the research on the Boulton family.  The numbers, although incomplete, were the Genealogical Society call number for the Birmingham 1851 census, St. George District, in which the family appeared, and the Birmingham Branch Record of L.D.S. Members.  It is interesting to note that no research nor temple work had been done on the Boulton line following Selina Mary's work for her parents and grandparents in 1924.
