The most pervasive problem in the world is ignorance—ignorance about Jesus Christ.  The most important knowledge that people should possess is the knowledge of who the Savior is and why following Him is crucial.  Most people give Him no thought, and ask, “What has Jesus Christ done for me?” ignorantly thinking that He has had, or should have, no influence on their lives.

Jesus Christ, under the direction of God the Father, is the Creator of the world and of everything thereon.  Every living soul is here because of Him.  We owe allegiance to Him.  We must worship Him as our creator.  It is He who gave us breath, and who enables life.  It is He to whom we will return and to whom we will report.  It is He who will judge us and assign our place in the eternal worlds.  It is He who enables our resurrection.  It is He who took upon Himself all of our sins, conditioned upon our repentance and diligence in following His commandments.  The law of justice demands that every sin that we commit must be paid for.  The grand secret of the world, of which everyone must become aware, is that Jesus Christ has already paid for our sins.  He suffered all of the pains associated with all of the sins the people of the world have committed making our individual sufferings unnecessary.  He paid the price for sins He didn't commit.

He enables miracles in the lives of those who seek Him.  I have experienced them—innumerable miracles.  I am happy.  I have a clear conscience.  I know Him.  I have an eternal family.  They are all happy, upright, contributing members of society.  I have an eternal marriage.  I have the promise of a glorious resurrection, and of an eternal life that is unimaginably better than this wonderful mortal life that I've experienced.

Perhaps the biggest miracle of all is the banishment of the darkness that filled my mind six decades ago before I learned who Jesus Christ is, and of what He's done for me.  I didn't even know that my head was filled with darkness until the light of Jesus Christ came into my mind and pushed the darkness out.  I've been happy ever since.

I see so many people around me in that same darkness.  They don't know that they're in darkness, and it doesn't have to be.  They don't have to stay there.  They could be happy.

My greatest desire is to point them to Christ and to turn on the lights.
