WHAT HAS JESUS DONE FOR ME? #2
I am absolutely astonished at what the Lord has done for me. He has provided my family with sustenance. I am not smart enough to have been a farmer and a rancher and to have been able to provide my large family with food and clothing and an abundant life on such a small farm.
He has given me an eternal family. He has enabled me to teach my children righteousness. He has given me knowledge. He has guided me by His Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost has been my constant companion and protector. He has given me the Bible and extra scriptures which all the world needs but won't receive. He has given me a willing and believing heart. He has enabled me to repent, to come clean, and to keep repenting. He has promised me a glorious resurrection and eternal life. He has entrusted me with His Priesthood. I have the authority to act in His name. He has made me a patriarch and has given me countless opportunities to serve. He has endowed me with the ability to write and to teach and to speak and to be believed. He has given me a testimony of Him and of this great work.
What could He have done more? I have all things. Without Him I can do nothing--absolutely nothing. I'm neither smart nor strong. But with Him I can do all things. I can do anything with His help.
Why, oh why, can't the world be blessed like I am? Why won't the world embrace this wonderful Book of Mormon that testifies so plainly of Him? Why are people so blind and hard hardhearted? Why am I so blessed? Why are people so unwilling to believe in Jesus Christ and to recognize what great and unimaginable things He has done for them and continually offers them?
I am astonished at my blessings, and dumbfounded at people's blindness. I love my Savior, and would that all could love Him and worship Him as I do.
