Worshiping the Lord
What does it mean to worship the Lord?
The shepherds came seeking and to adore Him.
The wise men came seeking Him, to adore Him, and to give gifts.
Simeon and Anna were watching for Him, waiting for Him, and looking for Him.
Mary kept these things in her heart and pondered them.
Joseph was His designated protector, and always immediately obeyed directives.
John the Baptist was His advocate.
The Apostles were His helpers and special witnesses.
The angels rejoiced.
Most were ignorant about Him and ignored Him.
Herod was His detractor and opposed Him.
We are to seek Him, watch for Him, wait for Him, adore Him, continually ponder Him, share our gifts, keep Him in our hearts and minds, protect His name, be immediately obedient, be His advocate and witness, rejoice over what He has done for us, learn of Him, and certainly to never ignore or oppose Him.
